Services - Cargo
Cargo must be delivered to the designated logistical area of the carrier or agent with time enough in advance – check with CVI beforehand the established timeframes. Any cargo delivered after the deadline may not board that specific sail. All living animals that aren’t pets will be considered cargo. Its owner is responsible for bringing the proper compartment (according to special needs, if they exist, and the animal size) where the animal will stay during the trip. CVI doesn’t have any compartment available (it’s the owner entire responsibility to bring one) and it won’t be responsible for the animal’s care during the trip (i.e.: feeding, hygiene). When the carrier receives the cargo, it will give the owner a “Loading Order” that the latter will have to present in order to have its cargo back, in the port of destination.
